It’s been a busy summer for Salma Hayek. One day she’s carrying the Olympic torch at the Summer Games in Paris, and the next, she’s on publishing a thirst trap on a private yacht in the middle of the ocean. And with all that action, there understandably hasn’t been much time for preserving her normal appeal routine.
Case in point? On Sunday, the starlet accepted her gray hair and could not have looked sexier while doing so. Showing off her salt-and-pepper strands in a brand-new bikini image shared to Instagram, Hayek used an intense yellow two-piece that includes an underwired top and matching bottoms with ruched tabs. She matched her itty-bitty bikini with a beaded pendant and tortoiseshell sunglasses, and styled her shiny brunette hair in braided pigtails with several silver streaks visible on the sides.
“Yellow swimwear + White hair = perfect combination,” Hayek captioned her sun-filled post, which showed her presenting beside the Spanish flag.
This isn’t the very first time the Magic Mike star has opened up about her gray hair. In 2015, Hayek shared her trick for camouflaging her silver strands with her fans on Instagram. “Here is a tip to cover your white hair without coloring it,” she wrote together with an image of herself with her sunglasses pulled back on top of her head, before including: “do not wear your glasses on your hair!!!.” Proving her point to be true, the next slide showed Hayek gray-free and without glasses on.
Putting mascara in your hair.,” Hayek previously told the hosts of Good Morning America in June 2023 when asked about her going gray. “Because I’m too lazy to color my hair, so I go like this and then I go like this,” she continued while making a streaking motion to both her eyelashes and her hair.
